Seagulls, Sculling and Smiles all round with some fun rows on the tidal Oreti River just outside Invercargill. Shane Gibson had a good morning taking the mens single scull convincingly, the Mixed Double with Elizabeth Lampen Smith, the Mens Double with Chelsea Lodge! and then placing third stroking the Mens Quad with another dubious crew of Chris Menzies, Elizabeth Lampen Smith and Max Paulin.

Lizzie Ritchie and Sandra Read took first in Womens Double finishing strongly ahead of the field.

The Womens Quad of Lizzie Ritchie, Sandra Binney, Sandra Read and Jo Underwood took fourth in the Womens (and mixed) quad.
